  1. Import the station SCD

    Bring voltage levels, bays, and IEDs into the Station view.

  2. Start simulated IEDs

    Publish MMS endpoints so remote clients can exercise the model.

  3. Load the Signal List

    Import Alarms, Indications, Measurements, and Commands from Excel.

  4. Connect the IEC870 master

    Set slave IP, CA, and Master Source IP when the slave allow-lists.

  5. Play closed-loop tests

    Drive points, wait for matching 104 feedback, mark ✔ or ✘ with clear cause.

    CLT Play stays blocked until IEC870 is Connected. No green tick without live 104 feedback.

  • Exact match criteria

    Pass means matching CA/IOA ON value — and for Alarms/Indications, exact MMS ↔ 104 timestamp alignment.

  • Safe digital restore

    On digital feedback fail, NetWise restores the simulated point to OFF so the next run starts clean.
